Comments: We used DRAQ5 staining for the validation of FSC/SSC dot plot based identification of rat leukocytes from lysed whole blood sample. The use of DRAQ5 is easy, it stained the nuclei instantly. We used DRAQ5 several times and achieved always similar staining intensities, indicating good reproducibility.
