Comments: DRAQ5 is very easy to use. You resuspend cells in PBS, stain cells in dark for 1-3 minutes, then you can image cells directly (no rinsing is needed). The product is kind of expensive, but it is worth it. The dye can be excited by either 488 or 639 nm laser, but emits in far red, so it won’t interfere with GFP.
