Roy trained in Biochemistry at St Andrews University. He brings thirty years of international experience in bioscience, spanning research and diagnostics consumables with Dynal Biotech and then latterly proteomics instrumentation with Applied Biosystems and Shimadzu Biotech.
In addition to the UK/European market, he has worked in the USA and Norway and held roles in product and marketing management, international distributor management and business development.
Roy has written book chapters on a wide range of topics and most recently published a paper in Analytical Chemistry and a chapter in Methods in Enzymology (vol. 505). He has also authored many posters and spoken at a wide range of scientific colloquia.
Roy travels extensively for BioStatus and represents the company at scientific conferences and meetings across the world. He is the first point of contact to discuss product applications, distribution agreements and collaborative proposals.
