CyGEL Sustain™ key references

The first reference to CyGEL™ has now been published enabling novel research on anoikis. The research was done in the laboratory of Dr Andrew P Gilmore, University of Manchester, UK.

This paper describes imaging live de-adhered epithelial cells for several hours in CyGEL doped with DMEM culture medium and growth factors.

The use of CyGEL was essential to hold cells still, both for image quality and cell location over time, keep cells away from any surface or "matrix" and assist in maintenance of the cells' de-adhered morphology.
