APOPTRAK™ Main Features and Benefits
APOPTRAK™ - A far-red emitting fluorescent probe for flow-based apoptosis assays
Features:
- Emλmax 700.5 nm; optimally excited with 633 nm and 647 nm laser lines
- Differentially labels both intact and membrane-compromised (apoptotic) cells
- Negative for debris, confirmed by Annexin V staining
Benefits:
- Easily combines with vis-range fluors e.g. FITC/GFP & R-PE (no spectral overlap)
- Potential to monitor reductive drug metabolism capacity of (hypoxic) cells
- Clearly discriminates intact cells, membrane-compromised cells, cellular debris and early-stage apoptotic cells when used with Annexin V
