High Throughput Screening and High Content Screening are the workhorses of the pharmaceutical industry's search for new compound activities and new druggable targets.
Where cell-based assays are used there is usually the need to localise the nucleus.
This can be used to allow:
- Automated recording of translocation and redistribution events in the cell
- Relative quantitation of changed expression or turnover of a tagged protein
- Measurement of the cell cycle position or ploidy of a cell / population

CyGEL™ offers new possibilities to visualise (primary) suspension cells in time-lapsed experiments only previously possible with adherent cell types.
